Saw squirrels and met some dogs. Having quiet time together is good for the soul. Thought alot about life, liberty and the presuit of happiness. Nothing makes them happier than cardboard.Given their destructive nature I always save them a few tubes to shred. Like any type dogs play with, you should always use with supervision. Nothing is indestructible as it's the nature's of pups. Unlike cardboard, my fleece ropes have lasted my two raptors for many months. Bear Bear's first time. Koda is better at the game but he still had fun finding the eggs. ๐Ÿ†• Learned to make an infinity rope, heart shaped rope, embroidery dog bones, poop bag holders, flower dog wreaths, paw paintings and a human size dog bed from scraps of fabric... cuz the @idiotballsoffluff ate their bed. Haha. ๐Ÿฅณ Bear Bear turned 1 years old! Baked him a meat cake! ๐Ÿ• Visited @theechobarkery and met the amazing bakers behind the treats I sell on my shop. Made by people with disabilities, what they do means so much to me. I'm so honored to help spread their mission where I can. ๐Ÿ’‘ Attended Camp Thundercraft sponsored by @urbancraftuprising. Connected with amazing local creatives who helped grow my heart . I've never thought of myself as crafty but learned I do belong. ๐Ÿ•โ€๐Ÿฆบ Took a mushing 101 class to learn the basics. Now to save for a scooter or cart! ๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Dog Dad helped me build a new picket fence check out stand. Also upgraded my market booth for more doggie goodness. ๐Ÿ›’ Was a vendor at Petpalooza and Witches Nght Out. Met new doggie friends and was excited to see some old friendly faces. ๐ŸŽฅ Hosted 6 Facebook Live sales. My favorite was for National Cow Appreciation Day. Although my last market of the year didn't go as planned due to a family emegency, I was still glad I put myself out there in the end. Live Sales are fun for me. We dress up and you can meet my dogs! ๐Ÿ˜ Lots of time with family. From camping with dogs in our backyard to visiting local markets. Cooked alot because for me food is love. They put up with my shinanigans! Haha ๐Ÿฆ– My dino dream is complete! T-Rex is my spirit animal and I own husky raptors. It's been such a fun year. I look forward to what 2025 will bring. I soooo love my new Hercules 5 speed multi layer electric rotary cutter. This thing cut fleece like butter! Since the end of 2021, I've struggled with neuropathy issues. Because I completely lost strength, forced to take a 4 month break from markets and most things. Worked with a neurologist and physical therapist. It was determined carpal tunnel and a degerative spine was the root case. When I showed my PT how I made dog ropes she was like "it's no wonder why!" So it's important I'm very mindful. Wear braces and take lots of breaks. Be ok with saying no. Balance my desire to make with my physical health. Also why I am pivoting to new adventures next year with a focus on our overall health. Why I am so excited!! Having this cutter will help emmsensly. Less stress on my hands to cut all the strips of fleece needed for my doggie toys. I was able to cut 3 yards in about 2-3 min. It's really the little things that matter. Ohh the problems of being a crafter. Our hands are our tools. We need to protect them at all cost. It's not like we look under their legs. Haha. So the easiest way... dog collar flowers! Collar fowers are one of my favorite things to make. Hand sewn with a machine stitch for the Velcro strap, they are fun alternatives to bandanas.
