It's dog toy night. Restocking snuffle mats that bring joy, calm, and enrichment to pups of all ages. Inspired by my sweet beagle who couldn’t see or hear but still had her nose, these mats are a labor of love.

If you’ve ever met my huskies, you already know why I started making handmade dog toys. My pups shred everything in sight. Suffies don't stand a chance. The only thing that lasts longer in my house are my handmade fleece dog ropes

One day, after watching a few YouTube videos and sacrificing a pair of my boyfriend’s jeans, I braided my very first rope toy. It worked… kind of. But the threads drove me nuts. That’s when I discovered fleece—and everything changed.

✨ Soft & Gentle: Easy on teeth, perfect for tugging and chewing without being rough.

✨ Lightweight: Even the tiniest pups can carry it around like a trophy.

✨ Durable & Non‑Fraying: No dangerous threads to get stuck in their teeth . No mess. If it does break you can tie it back in a knot.

✨ Water friendly: freeze it for teething puppies. You can toss it in the wash.

Please keep in mind: No dog toy is ever truly indestructible, and all play should be supervised—but every design in my shop is husky tested and approved 😂

2025 has truly been a year of resilience. So much

2025 has truly been a year of resilience.

So much shifted in my little world. While my usual rhythm of crafting for canines and joining local markets paused, this season of change gave me space to reset, refocus, and embrace the joy of slowing down.

Highlights include:

🍺 My son turned 21—we celebrated with our first pint together.

🧁 Bear Bear turned 2! His big day included “big water” and a birthday burger.

🤕 Helped my son recover from shoulder surgery at WSU—while I had my own mishap with a fabric cutter.

👩‍🍳 Shared recipes in Canine Crazies in the Den: beet heart dog bones, meatball pupcake, lick mats, frosting tips.

🌸 Crafted DIY flower leashes for Koda—because every girl deserves to feel pretty.

🛍️ My toys, balls, mats, and accessories are now at @craftyaf.

🐕‍🦺 Found comfort in dog therapy—walks with my pups keep me grounded.

😷 Bear Bear learned to wear a muzzle—next up, more dog introductions.

❄️ National Sled Dog Day brought snow—the perfect gift for my @idotballsoffluff.

🤓 Achieved a huge personal goal: passing the Project Mgmt Professional (PMP) exam after 6 years.

⛺ Built a cozy fort and had a Disney movie night with the dogs.

🎉 Celebrated an anniversary with Business Connections and Conversations, a local networking group.

🐕 Launched Size My Dog service with free local fittings.

🌿 Started a garden—our biggest project—complete with husky-proof fencing.

🍞 Learned sourdough! Sally was born in October, and now I’m obsessed.

🚑 Created the “Dr. Puppy” bandana for Halloween—Bear Bear was a quiet ambulance, Koda focused on treats.

😱 Turned 50! Officially old… but still fabulous.

🦃 Hosted my entire family for Thanksgiving—for the first time in over a decade.

🎅 Sponsored Holiday Pet Photos with Santa—so good to be back in the community.

🎄 Ended the year with a rare and cherished Christmas with my two older children.

I’m truly looking forward to all that 2026 will bring. With my return to markets, I can’t wait to reconnect with my beloved Canine Community and share the love of dogs.

Due to my daughter pet sitting another pup, we decided to delay our Christmas 1 day. The huskies can't wait until they open gifts. From toys to treats it will be worth the wait.

I hope you had a wonderful holiday with your family and floofs. Thank you for a fabulous season and I look forward to what 2026 will bring.

No big adventures today — Mommy was knee‑deep in kitchen chaos — but this girl didn’t complain once. Instead, she supervised like the regal husky she is and reminded me that birthdays don’t need trails to be special.

Koda was the very first husky I ever adopted, and she’s been beautifully dramatic from day one. My best girl, my sass queen, my emotional support diva. She’s always been so patient with Mommy's shenanigans — dress‑ups, photos, silly ideas — she just sighs, gives me that “really?” look, and lets me do it anyway.

And even if we didn’t get out today, we made up for it with the best snuggle time on the couch. Just me and my birthday girl soaking in the moment.

Weekend adventures are coming, Koda. But today? Today was perfect in its own cozy way.

Tonight I'm preparing some of my favorite dog bones to turn them into ornaments for our dog tree!

Here is now you make them.
🍠 1 sweet potato
🥚 1 egg
🍎 1 cup apple sauce
🥜 1 tablespoon peanut butter
🌾 2.5 cups whole wheat flour

Mix together and bake at 350 for 30 min.

One of my favorite holiday traditions is supporting fellow small businesses—especially the ones that celebrate dogs as much as I do. Each year, I add something special to our dog-themed tree, and this season’s additions made my heart extra full.

✨ @d_nice_crochets You know the way to my heart. As a lifelong Snoopy fan (since age 5!), your festive Peanuts ornaments bring back all the nostalgia and joy. They’re whimsical, timeless, and absolutely perfect.

🎨 @soulfulanimalportraits — Your hand-painted ornaments of my pups are pure magic. They capture their personalities so beautifully. Even though Bear Bear may have eaten his (oops!), it still hangs proudly on our tree as a reminder to always keep things husky-high. 😂

The fires are burning so let's bring on all the Christmas shenanigans with the @idiotballsoffluff Today they were so tolerant for their first photo shoot by the trees. Because they are good pups, they get their own dog tree in my craft studio.

I'll be making them their dog ropes. Bear Bear also loves his little balls. Finally a handmade bone stocking filled with toys and treats. Candy cane ropes are my most popular seasonal item so once I'm done with other doggos orders, Mama will fill your tree

Few key dates if you want to get your pups some last minute presents under the tree. Since I'll be out of town the week of Dec 15th my cutoff is a bit earlier this year.

🚚 Last day for holiday shipping is next Saturday!

Today was filled with family, food, and plenty of furry love. Bear Bear was the perfect gentleman with a house full of new faces—he even curled up under the table for a dinner nap. Koda kept the laughter going with her little “woo” whenever Grandma stopped petting her. 🐾💛

So grateful for family, friends, and this amazing pack we share. Wishing you joy, peace, and lots of delicious leftovers tonight. 😋✨
