𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱𝗯𝘆𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿! One of the best things I've done for my mental health in 2025 is start a garden. Dirt therapy is so healthy. I get dog time. I invest in growth. Although I've been gardening more than crafting, it's been a welcoming distraction. Now that the temperature is dropping, the @idiotballsoffluff and I spent a little time outside. Final harvest of peppers and tomatoes. Brought plants that won't survive inside. We will leave the zucchini, squash, peas, carrots, potatoes and green beans still growing. After the leaves fall it will be time to put the garden to bed for the winter. Since I've loved gardening with the floofs so much, I think I'm going to expand my dogs YouTube channel. 👻 𝗪𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗔𝗿𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘀 👻 My summer break from crafting for canines is over. I've very much needed this down time with my doggos. Today I restocked at my favorite creative space in Tacoma @craftyafstudio. For this spooky season I've added Halloween styled bow ties, flowers, leashes and matching dog mom scrunchies! Dog time is the best time. It's my go to happy place that lifts my soul. No matter what's going on in the world, I am comforted by fluffy butts. 𝗛𝘂𝘀𝗸𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗮 𝗛𝘂𝘀𝗸𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗻 For the past month my family has been working on our own dog safe victory garden! Using parts of my craft booth and some fencing. Im sooo glad I can garden without worrying about dogs digging in my plants. We have cherry and apple trees. Now we need all the herbs and vegetables. Here is what we are planting for the Fall 🍂 🎃 Pumpkins: with 8 plants I hope to have all the pumpkins. Little ones and big ones.I see lots of canning and freezing for the dogs dinner and homemade treats. 🌻 Giant sunflowers: cant wait to take pictures with a new sunflower collection I'll release in the Fall 🫛 Green beans teepee: the pups need a living dog house 🍅 Two tomatoes types. We've picked up gardening together and it feels so good. As a result, I'm repurposing my market display for plants. Pots I once used for dog toys. Check out stand for a potting table We are even using the chain link fence gate to section off more of the yard. I am back to restocking all of my inventory on my website and @craftyafstudio. 🧵 𝗦𝗲𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲 🧵 Sewing to me is more than just the things I sell on my shop. It is a skill I wanted to learn to carry on my family history. 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲: Growing up, my mother was an interior designer. With a degree in Art and Anthropology, she would build displays for department stores, the AZ Art Museum and other non profits. If she wanted something... She would sew it. From curtians, pillows, and even upholstery. I watched her sew on her Singer. I was fascinated with the process as a little girl Although I dabbled a little, it wasn't until the pandemic I decided to finally dive deep. Over the past few weeks I decided to focus on sewing self care. Make more pretties...not for sale... but 100% for me. New pillows for his outdoor dog bed. Matching coffee and table runner. With upgraded furniture, plants and lights, I finally have a boho inspired patio perfect for me and my pups. Having the ability to customize your life with fabric is the best part of sewing. May it be dog collars or a doggie day beds.... It's the little things that make me happy. 🥰

🎉 𝗟𝗲𝘁'𝘀 𝗚𝗼 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗲 🎉 Crafting for canines on FB Live is always a labor of love. The Tech girl in me always goes a bit extra. Tonight's set up took about 2+ hours. From challenges with multi cameras to testing my wireless mic set up...it's worth it to me to inspire other pup parents to get creative for your dogs. Using fishing line and weaving the flowers between the branches it's was a fun little thing to do. That's the best part of crafting for canines. You don't need a sewing machine and all the things.
