Being part of a canine community is so much more t Being part of a canine community is so much more than what I make — it's about showing up for the people who show up for our dogs. 🐾 From crafters to service-based businesses, I've always believed that those of us who truly love our four-legged friends are better together. And today was a perfect reminder of exactly that. I had the sweetest time at a community dog day hosted by the amazing @doggy_paradise2024 and @shineandshareevents to celebrate the grand opening of @petrecoverycenter. My heart was absolutely full. These ladies pour so much love not just into the dogs they serve, but into the community around them — and that means everything. 🥹 I made some new friends, squeezed the ones I already adore, picked up a pet-safe plant, and treated myself to the most refreshing strawberry drink. It was exactly the kind of fun, feel-good family day we all need more of. ❤️ Go show them some love — they deserve every bit of it! Thank you for everything you do for our pets and the people who love them. 🐕

♥️ Happy Valentine's Day ♥️ Tonight I had ♥️ Happy Valentine's Day ♥️ Tonight I had the absolute privilege of serving the @idiotballsoffluff a fully romantic, dog‑friendly three‑course spaghetti dinner. I even shared the recipe over in my group, Canine Crazies in the Den, because of course I did. A single rose. Candlelight. A cozy fire. I went all‑in — and it was so worth it for these two. Koda girl showed up looking gorgeous in her flower collar, while Bear Bear rocked his bow like the gentleman he believes he is. Dogs deserve date nights too. And the best part? Cuddle time while we watch Lady and the Tramp together. Thank you, my sweet pups, for loving me as fiercely as I adore the both of you. 🥰

Visiting the Iditarod as a kid was the moment I fell head‑over‑heels for these majestic snow dogs—their power, their spirit, their joy. It sticks with you for life. ♥️ 𝗙𝘂𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝘆𝗮 🐕 Not long ago, someone asked me what the most durable dog toy is. She had just welcomed a puppy—sweet little Freya—who, like all puppies, was busy tearing into everything. Since I share my home with huskies, she thought I might have some advice. The truth is, there’s no such thing as an indestructible dog toy. As pup parents, we do our best. Some dogs shred every toy they touch, while others carry theirs around like prized treasures. It really depends on the dog. For my own pair of furry wrecking balls, the winning combo has been surprisingly simple: cardboard boxes and my handwoven fleece pull toys. They’re soft enough for puppy teeth yet strong enough to survive the tug-of-war battles of two huskies. And even though Freya is still small, those sharp little teeth are determined to chew anything she can get her paws on. So go wild, Freya! Toys are meant for fun—and they’re a whole lot better than chewing on your family’s things.
